Why me? Why not some other provider?
- I'm a board certified family nurse practitioner, I know a thing or two because I've seen a thing or two. I can order labs, prescribe, assess, evaluate, diagnose, and treat my clients.
- I'm certified as a health coach through the National Society of Health Coaches, the only evidence based certification that requires a clinical license.
- I spent 21 years enlisted in the United States Army. I've lived a real life outside of the confines of traditional medicine. I was a teacher, coach, and mentor to thousands of Soldiers over the course of my career.
- I want to help you because I couldn't help my parents. I went into the medical field after the Army because I believed my parents weren't well served by the healthcare they received. I want to make sure other people get to live the long, healthy lives my parents didn't get to live.
- I follow the tenets of functional medicine. When we develop a plan together, there is a very good chance that I am performing the actions in that plan. Even when I'm unmotivated and don't want to, I do it. Simply, I feel your pain.
- Most importantly, I really do care. I will spend the time to understand you and your life, what will work and what won't. I will LISTEN to you. Together we will develop a plan to fix what doesn't work. We are partners in this journey.
